Dear Random Gypsy,
about half of the mtDNA and YDNA lineage still show the south asian origin of this ethnic group.
These groups are:
mtDNA: M5
Y-DNA: H1a
Further groups show their way from South Asia to Europa:
mtDNA: H, J, T, U3, U5b, I, W and X
Y-DNA: I1, I2a, J2a4b, E1b1b, R1b, R1a
Unfortunatly we have no detailed data about indian tribes and therefore can not compare these results at this time.

Hello. Please could the igenea company answer what your studies have shown what haplogroups are most common in roma gypsy people on paternal and maternal line. And which indian tribe romas are most related to. Thanks
